About the role & who we are looking for

Smådjursveterinär Örebro is a small animal clinic with close team collaboration and short decision-making paths. We are now looking for a veterinarian who thrives with emergency cases and surgery, and who wants to be a key part of our continued development.

This role is perfect for you if you enjoy variety, can work independently in emergency situations, and feel confident – or wish to develop further – in soft tissue surgery and emergency operations.

Responsibilities:

• Emergency reception and assessment of emergency patients
• Emergency surgeries, primarily soft tissue surgery
• Routine surgeries
• On-call duties as agreed
• Standard outpatient work

We are looking for someone who:

• Has a Swedish veterinary license
• Has an interest in emergency surgery and surgical work
• Is responsible and can make decisions under pressure
• Thrives in a small team where everyone helps each other
• Is willing to participate in on-call duties and night work

It is an advantage if you:

• Have experience with on-call duties or emergency care
• Have operated independently before
• Feel confident with anesthesia and emergency patients

We are part of the Swedish Veterinary Group, a larger association of veterinary clinics and animal hospitals across Sweden. We collaborate between clinics and support each other with everything from professional advice to further education. In addition to physical and digital training within the group, collaboration through observation (auscultation) with the group's distinguished experts and specialists in various medical fields is also facilitated.
